Dear Rogue Valley Artisans,
We invite you to join Thrive and the Rogue Valley Food System Network for the 5th annual Brews, Bluegrass & BBQ Festival, benefiting local food and farming programs! Last year's event kicked off Medford Beer Week and attracted over 1,500 people for a day of local music, local craft brews, and BBQ meats from local ranchers. This year's event is shaping up to be even bigger and should provide an excellent venue for you to reach a community of people who have a desire to support local businesses.
In an effort to support our local business owners and add to the village feel of this all-day music festival, we are excited to be opening our event up to local artisans and crafters. Take a look at the vending criteria below to see if this event will be a good fit for your business. Applications must be received no later than May 19th. Selections will be made as applications are received with an emphasis on a variety of high-quality, locally made products; exceptions will be made for products sold by locally owned businesses that fit within our Brews, Bluegrass & BBQ theme (see criteria below).
Vendors will be provided a 10' x 10' booth space and will be expected to provide their own pop-up tent, table, chairs and signage. Electricity is available by pre-arrangement only. Please indicate this on your application.
• The business must be locally owned, with more than 50% of its ownership residing within the Rogue Valley.
• Products should be locally-made, with an exception given to locally owned businesses selling a product that supports the theme of the event (ie: home-brewing equipment, BBQs & BBQ supplies, musical instruments, etc.).
• Food sales are limited to items not intended for immediate consumption, so as not to compete with food & beverage sales on site (jams, sauces, frozen foods, etc.).
We hope to see you there!
